Reading Program
Programs are on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.
Exception:
Tues., 6/17, 2:00 p.m.
For more information call (541) 935-7512
The Summer
Reading Program is open to any child between the ages of 0 and 12 years.
Library
cards are free for anyone living within the Fern
Ridge
Library District. Youth living outside the district can get a summer
library card for $1.
- There will be weekly guessing jars for those 12 and under.
Guess how
much is in the jar and earn a cool prize, like a pass to the Oregon
Coast Aquarium. You must turn in a reading record to make a guess.
- If you turn in at least one reading record you will earn a
FREE book
and certificate. But if you turn in three reading records you will earn
a cool T-shirt.
- The reading records include a Read to Me program for those
still
learning how to read or who are too young to read. Older siblings who
read to younger ones can count that time.
